Auto accident with a fatality in Kandiyohi County

A three vehicle accident with a fatality occurred in Kandiyohi County, Monday at 3:14 PM

on Highway 12.  Richard J. Reznecheck, age 54 of Willmar was treated and released at the

scene.  Reznecheck's 2006 Volvo Truck received severe damage.  The driver of the second

vehicle, Arlo J. Gordon, age 66 of Willmar was pronounced dead at the scene.  Gordon's

1994 Pontiac Van was totaled.  The driver of the third vehicle, Lori A. Schneider, age 47 of

Pennock was treated and released at the scene.  Schneider's 2003 Chevy Impala received

moderate damage.  The accident occurred when the Gordon vehicle crossed the centerline

and sideswiped the back tires of the semi driven by Reznecheck.  The Schneider vehicle was

hit by debris from the other two vehicles.  Gordon and Schneider were both West bound on

Highway 12.  Reznecheck was East bound on Highway 12.
